The Mega Speed Business Meeting took place the 21st of January at Hotel Pullman, and several Danish companies – members of Danish Romanian Business Association (DRBA) – participated.
The event was organized and hosted by the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania (CCIFER) in partnership with other bilateral chambers of commerce from Romania (Netherlands Romanian Chamber of Commerce (NRCC); British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC); Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania (CCIpR); Danish Romanian Business Association (DRBA); American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham); and Chamber of Commerce Switzerland in Romania).
The evening was exclusively dedicated to bringing people from various businesses together, across typical understandings of which companies would make sense to interact with. Hence more often than not, you would be linked with people you would never have thought could bring something really useful to the company.
The event was very well organised and all participating companies, of which there were more than 100, seized the opportunity to make the most of the possibility presented.
As Dragos Calin, from Maersk Line puts it:
“[It was] an extremely exciting event that puts into practice quick selling and presentation skills, unveils new opportunities that were never to be taken into account by the lack of information, and fosters direct human interaction between different industries as well as indirect entities contact through each other’s’ customers list presented during the discussions and afterwards. [I would] recommend having them at a higher frequency, once per month will suit my liking from a business point of view.”
