The meeting was opened by Alexander de Reuterhorn from Finpro Romania, with few words about the advantages of the Nordic business.
"Our region is known for its open and transparent approach in both the private and public sector. I hope that, through meetings like this, we can contribute to the development of the Romanian market", he stated.
Also, the Norwegian Ambassador Tove Bruvik Westberg attended the meeting as speaker and stressed the importance of the cooperation for improving the business environment in Romania.
“We should all work together in order to wield influence in areas of crucial importance to Nordic investors and importers. It is our duty to cooperate with Romanian authorities so as to improve the business environment.”
Cristian Antoci from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), had the pleasure to inform about Romania's unexpected growth in 2013 – more than 3%, this fact confirm that Romanian market represents a stable ground for new projects.
"There is huge room for growth in Romania", noticed Cristian Antoci.
More than 100 representatives from Nordic companies participated in a relaxed and delightful set-up, sharing valuable information and experiences.
