H.E. Mr. Michael Sternberg, Danish ambassador to Romania and Moldova hosted on the 3rd of May at his residence in Bucharest, Romania the inaugural meeting of Danish Romanian Business Association – in short DRBA.
Members of the DRBA are companies representing Danish interests, sharing a common desire to strengthen the Danish business and investment ties with Romania and Moldova. The Association is simultaneously striving to strengthen, widen and deepen the existing network of Danish companies which are already doing business or interested in following these two unique and growing markets. The DRBA is starting out with an impressive number of members – more than 60 reputable companies – and with a large number of companies from Denmark and Romania interested in becoming members.
The Danish Romanian Business Association will provide an organized and continuing basis for Danish companies and Romanian partners for effective networking, contributing to strengthening of the commercial relations between the two countries. In this process the Association will strive to facilitate the exchange of views and information between member companies and government bodies and other companies and business associations/chambers of commerce in Romania and Moldova as well as in Denmark.
The Secretariat of the Association will be located at the Royal Danish Embassy in Bucharest.
