On the 15th October 2014 the DRBA hosted the annual meeting at the Hotel Athenee Palace Hilton. At the meeting, H.E. Mr. Karsten Vagn Nielsen, as newly appointed Danish Ambassador in Romania, introduced himself to the members of DRBA and presented a number of key observations about Danish and Romanian economic trends.
Subsequently Mr. Razvan Stroe, Head of Commercial Department within the Royal Danish Embassy presented the activities of the DRBA in the past 12 month, where notably the Unirii metro event was a big success. Mr. Stroe also presented the Commercial Department vision for a new DRBA project in 2015, which revolves around showcasing the abilities of the various members of the DRBA.
Finally a new DRBA Board of Advisers was appointed. This year the voting was done electronically and, based on the number of votes, the new Board consists of:
- Mr Bogdan Ivanescu – Stem Sure
- Mrs Catalina Dragomir – Vestas CEU Romania
- Mr Dragos Calin – Maersk Line Romania
- Mr Laurentiu Gheorghe – ISS Facility Services
- Mr Torben Storm Nielsen – Lawyer
Congratulations to the newly elected. Having finished the formal part of the meeting the participants enjoyed a cocktail/buffet and engaged in networking.
