Launching the CSR project “ Caravana cu medici”. For a period of several month we will coordinate 4-6 Free Screening and Testing Missions to areas/villages in rural Romania in order to provide as many citizens from that area as possible with access to free screenings of their healthcare and basic healthcare tests. The screenings and testings are made by the NGO “Caravana cu Medici” members, a team of 40-50 doctors and students, which will spend a full week-end in one village/area. The Ambassadors as well as the staff of the Embassies will offer coordination and support and all costs are supported by Danish companies: Premium Porc, Dan Agri, Dan Bred, Falck, Ramboll, and not least Novo Nordisk. 2 caravanes took already place and media coverage is very good.
