Danagri Invest A/S

Avicola Dan’s Danish Mother company Danagri Invest has made their investment project in the village of Sanislau, Satu Mare County in Northern Romania. It was developed in 2007 to satisfy an increasing demand for chicken meat, while taking advantage of the newest production technology and knowledge. At the same time using the efficient Danish broiler management skills to improve profitability of the investment. To benefit from the market conditions, and ensure environmental and economic sustainability, the investment includes broiler barns and feed production.

The basic idea is to use Danish management skills combined with local work force. Our general manager Adrian Tentes from Carei has been with Avicola Dan since the beginning. Local presence and understanding are an Absolut necessity to be able to succeed. At the current moment 20 people are employed, all from the local area.

Core Activity

Producing 1, 8 Mio chickens pr year.

• Producing 8.000 tons of chicken feed pr year for own consumption
• Can supply 16.000 tons of chicken feed to other customers.

The Feed mill has a yearly capacity of 24.000 tons pelleted broiler feed. We are buying wheat and mays/corn on the local market. The need on a yearly basis is around 8.000 tons, which is our current production at the feed mill.
